Getting to Richmond Getting to Richmond

There are many ways to get to Richmond - regardless of whether you want to take the wheel, or sit back and enjoy the ride. If you're on the caravan journey of a lifetime, you will be pleased to know nearly all towns have caravan parks.

Easily the most common choice for travellers, the self-drive option allows visitors more flexibility and accessibility to see all the attractions and experiences.  Richmond does not have car hire options however larger towns or cities nearby (such as Townsville, Mount Isa or Longreach) do have options if you are looking at travelling further into Outback Queensland.
